Daschell M. Phillips is a Chicago native and the senior content developer for @Chicago.com. Daschell came to Medill's New Media graduate program from Pensions & Investments magazine where she was the daily fax reporter. She received her undergraduate degree in Journalism-news editorial from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Va where she was the news editor then Editor-in-Chief of the student news paper. She has created Web site concepts for two local,non-profit organizations.
