Harrah's East Chicago Casino

Visit Lake County, just 20 minutes from downtown Chicago, for entertainment away from the same old spots.

Harrah's East Chicago Casino is the largest riverboat casino on the Lake Michigan waters, and it is the only lakefront casino in Indiana with live poker action.
Layer 3:

The 53,000 square foot vessel has more than 2,000 games, which include slot machines, table games and video poker.

If you become a Total Rewards Card member (free), you can earn points on your card at any Harrah's location in the United States. Cardholders earn invitations to slot tournaments, golf outings, birthday parties and cash drawings.

Like many casinos East Chicago offers free drinks while playing, but don't expect any handouts from the hotel like meal vouchers or free tokens along with your reservations in the new hotel.

You will, however, get a room with two queen beds and a directory of restaurants that serve meals such as steak dinners or hot dogs. Other amenities include access to a health club, which offers free bottled water and cable television; spa and salon.
