Raging
Rivers Waterpark
The
days of the Slip and Slide during the summer may be over, but
you can head to Raging
Rivers Waterpark and get the more grown up version to beat
the summer heat.
Lakefront activities are fun, but imagine spinning in a giant
vortex and dropping into a deep pool of water. Visit Grafton,
Illinois and you'll experience this one-of-a-kind ride.
It
costs $15.95 to enter the park before 3 p.m. If you and your buddies
want to stay overnight, spring for the Sun Package for $129+ tax,
which includes 1 night's lodging with two double beds, four tickets
and a breakfast buffet.
And on the subject of food, don't despair. There are "Wendy's-priced"
menu choices like chicken fingers and burgers available inside
the park, says Connie Clark, sales director for the park. Or you
can save a few bucks by bringing your own food and having lunch
in the picnic area just outside the park.
Raging
Rivers Waterpark is located at 100 Palisades Pkwy. in Grafton
